303 players for 19th Shri Maheshwaranand Saraswati MemorialAll India Open FIDE Rating Chess Tournament    

Pune : A total 303 players out of which 175 rated players from all over india will be seen in action at the 19th Shri Maheshwaranand Saraswati Memorial All India Open FIDE Rating Chess Tournament which is being organised by Buddhibal Kreeda Trust and to be held at Ganesh Sabhagruha, Karve Road, Pune from 10th to 11th November 2023.  

Mr.Prakash Kunte, Trustee of Buddhibal Kreeda Trust said that, This tournament will be organized by Buddhibal Kreeda Trust and is recognized by All India Chess Federation will see 303 Chess Players which included GM Laxman RR(2217), IM Mohammad Shaikh(2302), IM Sammed Shete(2280), IM Padmini Rout(2274), IM Rahul VS(2252), IM Kushagra Mohan(2228), IM Vikramditya Kulkarni(2178), IM Abhishek Kelkar(2163) in action making it one of the strongest tournament to be held in Pune.The Tournament will be conducted by Chief arbiter IA Rajendra Shidore and Deputy Chief Arbiter Vinita Shrotri. We have received entries from Maharashtra, Odisha, Tamilnadu, Telangana, Goa, Haryana, UP, Gujrat.
 
The tournament will be conducted in the Swiss League Format and will be played in 9th Rounds. The tournament will offer a total prize money of Rs.200000/-. The tournament will be inaugurated on the 10th November 2023 at 9.45am.
