Wave Riders, Chandigarh Titans, and Golf Code Register Comfortable Wins in Trinity Golf Champions League

Pune: The Trinity Golf Champions League (TGCL), a unique team golf tournament presented by India’s World Cup-winning cricket legend Kapil Dev, witnessed exciting contests on the third daysaw Chandigarh Titans, Wave Riders, and Golf Code record emphatic victories to continue their strong run in the competition.

At the Oxford Golf Course in Lavale, Pune, Wave Riders defeated Pune Maratha Mulligans 13-03 in the opening match of the day. For Pune Maratha, Rishabh Phadke and Padmaja Shirke registered wins and put up a lone fight. However, Wave Riders’ Arjun Prasad & Shaurya Bhattacharya, Simarjeet Singh & Sumiv Kapoor, and Gaurav Chaturvedi & Dhruvpal Singh secured brilliant victories for their team. In addition, Pune Maratha Mulligans’ Navtej Singh & Jay Shirke held Sukhman Singh & Ranjit Singh to a draw in a closely fought contest.





In the second clash, Golf Code outclassed Dugastya Titans-Dubai with a dominant 15-01 scoreline. The only resistance from the Dubai side came from Avinash Deuskar & Shiba Wahid, who held Gurteg Sodhi & Rounit Kharkwal to a draw. Golf Code’s Sachin Baisoya & Hitashi Bakshi, Varun Parmar & Akash Kumar, and JS Negi & Naunihal Singh all recorded big wins, playing a pivotal role in their team’s comprehensive victory.

The evening session featured Chandigarh Titans, who bounced back in style with a 13-03 win over Vishwasamudra Golden Eagles. The winning side saw strong performances from Raghav Chugh & Meeman Singh, Deepak Yadav & Feroze Grewal, and Shaurya Khandelwal & Karandheer who steered their team to a commanding win. Golden Eagles’ Sneha Singh & Ridhima Dilawari fought hard and managed to pull off a lone victory for their side.
