200 players for the Second Edition Millenium National School and Kunte Chess Academy presents Age Category Open chess tournament

Pune : A total 200 players will be seen in action in the Second Edition of Millenium National School and Kunte Chess Academy presents Age Category Open chess tournament to be organized by Kunte Chess Academy and Millenium National School in association with Kinder Sports LLP and played at Millennium National School, Karve Road on sunday 29th October 2023.

Mrunalini Kunte, Tournament Director informed that The tournament will be held under the auspices of PDCC.

Millennium National School has given their facility for Chess Tournament to promote Chess in Pune. The  event will be played under Swiss league format.  The event will be held in 4 categories Group A: under 9 category, Group B: under 11 category, Group C: Under 13 category and Group D: under 15 category, .

Prominent players who have confirmed their entries for the event include rated players in open group Kavish Limaye(1209, Under 9), Vihan Deshmukh (1226, Under 11), Shreyas Patil(1317, Under 13), Shasvat Gupta(1444, under 15), The tournament has a total cash prize of Rs. 32,000 /- .

The Tournament will be conducted by Chief arbiter Nitin Shenvi
